Late at night, when the station is nearly empty, you can always hear the moans and groans of a young
girl in her teens. Screams would begin and then become much louder. Other people have heard the sounds too. Someone has once reported that they swear they saw a young girl wearing dancing clothes, covered in what looked like to be blood in her chest area (she was clutching her chest). She lurks around the station moaning and groaning. She also sits in the middle of the station, and just stares and cries. No one has reported any violence/harm done by the ghost |

This place is an old Mafia house and years ago, in the top tower of this house, they used to take people that deceived them and shoot them.
Apparently nobody lives there now, but at nighttime, the top tower light turns on and there is a distinctive white shaded figure that comes down the front lawn when you park your car there. The Quarantine Reserve was developed between 1917 and 1930. The station consisted of
Cattle stalls, Horse Stalls, Dog Kennels, A piggery (now refurbished as public toilets), Dogs kitchen for preparation of dog food, Food Store, A caretaker's cottage, An incinerator, A cattery but later demolished. In 1980 the Abbotsford Quarantine Station was closed and moved out to Wallgrove. The public have been allowed access to this beautifully landscaped and positioned reserve since 1981 when it was handed over to Council. There have been strange noises and figures seen. Also figures representing animals have been seen in the area. If you walk to the Marshes a dead body was found here years ago, the spirit is said to still lurk around the park. |

This Historic Cemetary used to be 46 Acres but now down to 2 Acres left.
There are many stories about this cemetery Sarah Simpson's Grave is actually located towards the back of the Cemetery, which is now fenced off. (2011) She was said to have been attacked and murdered by a group of men who left her to die. There have been stories of a man that lives next to the cemetery who releases his dogs upon you and also fires his shotgun towards you. Who knows if this story is true or not dare to find out for yourself. The white figure has been seen drifting around the cemetery also extra foot steps that aren't your own following you. There is also a photo of graves and 4 white figures have been seen there. The cemetery is pitch black at night, making it a very very haunting experience indeed. Although we have heard this story actually originated in another cemetery nearby and this is not the Sarah they speak of. Perhaps the Urban Legends are not true? Have they been twisted through time? Please feel free to share your stories with us. Also known is a game with the young ones, where they tie different coloured Ribbons to trees through out the Cemetery, When its pitch black, with either no torch or a small torch, the person who gets the ribbon closest to Sarah's Grave wins, or is at least the bravest...... if they make it out at all that is. More research is always being conducted...... we will find the truth! |

This Historic church has an urban legend story of when you drive
around the church your head lights turn off, and if you continue to drive again your car will stall. There are also 2 twin ghost boys, who were killed when their friends left them after a prank went wrong with fire, they burnt to death. They do not like Fire at all, and get rather angry when around it. There are Spirits there protecting the land so be warned. The Cox family are here and will show themselves when they want to. |

Known as the church on the hill, this church is haunted by a lady in white seen roaming around the church.
The temperature there goes hot to cold and vice versa. There is a paticulare gave you go near or sit near, and you feel very cold and like someone is with you. Also in pictures of the church in the windows you can see a face, many people have reported this true. A Demon is said to lurk in a paticular place, it shows itself to males mainly. The Mortuary Station was opened on 29th June 1869. The station was built to facilitate the transport of the human remains from the Devonshire Street Cemetery to the new necropolis located at Rockwood. The
station was also known as Regent Street Necropolis Receiving Station and the Mortuary Station. This station was built in conjunction with the Receiving House at Rookwood Cemetery.
Both of the stations were designed by architect James Barnet using elements inspired from 13th century gothic style. The sculptors, Thomas Ducket and Henry Apperly created the sculptures for both stations. These included angels, cherubs, and gargoyles.
From 14th March 1938 the station found a new use as a platform for horses and dogs. From February 1950 it was used as a platform for parcels.
Very eerie place to be around at night, Orbs and figures have been photographed.

"Gracie's Ghost."
Gracie is a well known Prince Henry Hospital Ghost. Sister Grace Andrews worked at the Prince Henry Hospital in the late 1940's to mid 1956. She worked for a short time in B Block as a reliever and then became Sister in Charge of A 3-4. Sister Andrews was a real character, and known for her outrageous behavior. She did not die at Prince Henry Hospital, she did reach an "old age" and died of natural causes. There are lots of people who insist that they have had "experiences" with Gracie's Ghost, including myself, but only in relation to A Block. The whole of the Prince Henry Hospital site is spiritual and there is a lot of paranormal activity to be experienced. Please be respectful! The lights in Busby west school continue to go on and off. Six people reported that they could of sworn they saw it.
Teachers, student police, and others reported they may of seen a young innocent girl moaning and upset.
She was stabbed in 1996, and still remains today in the Busby west boys school toilet.

One day, after seeing a ghost, a security guard decided that patrolling the site, decided it was not worth the money.

Australia’s most haunted house.
Hundreds of sightings and strange occurrences happen in and around this house every year. Visitors tell of cold spots, voices, and not being able to ascend certain stairs due to some unexplained force. \One room is Locked at all times, it contains a stairwell down to the basement, people have seen a womans ghost and out of fear have fallen down the stairs. The homestead is open to the public and it has also been the focus of some Australian television programs. 1966 - Jock, a kindly railway worker who had gone to rescue an injured possum from the tracks, was struck and killed by a train that appeared suddenly from the foggy darkness. Locals still believe thst at night you can hear Jock walking along the tracks searching for injured wildlife.
1970 - The Mutilated body of 3 yr old Simon was found not far from Via Ducts. He was suffocated with balls of newspaper in his throat. To this Day the murder remains unsolved. 1970 - The body of a 12yr old boy was found along the railway embankment, the boy died from extensive head injuries inflicted with a large rock. 1970 - 7 months after the above death, only 50 meters away, the body of another boy the same age was found. He Died from multiple stab wounds to the chest, stomach and legs. 1977 a man was arrested and found guilty of murdering the 2 boys. 1976 - A girls body was found dumped in the carpark. She was thought to have been the victim of Sydney's first satanic murder. Remains unsolved. 2000 - Reg Malvin, a homeless man was found bludgeoned to death on the grandstand of jubilee park. Reg had ignored warnings not to sleep there. There was so much blood at the scene they had to replace a whole pannel of the grandstand where the blood had soaked though. Remains unsolved. |
